Candace is an intelligent and happy 15-year-old. She communicates through her Tobii (communication device) and is very curious about the world around her. She enjoys being outside, is an active member of her 4-H club, and the church. She works very hard to move her body, maintain her strength, and stay active. She has been riding an adaptive trike at physical therapy, is getting good at it, and seems to really enjoy it. Having her own bike for home use would further help her maintain, if not increase her strength and coordination outside of physical therapy. This would be a great reactional activity, increase her independence, and also give her an alternative mode of transportation.

Candace enjoys shopping and going out to eat. She has an interest in fashion and wants to go to college after high school.

At Adaptive Sports Connection we want every child who could benefit from an adaptive bike to be able to make their dream of owning one come true. That is why we come alongside families to help them raise the funds they need.
