Novah is a brave and strong 4-year-old who entered this world very early, born at just 24 weeks and 4 days, weighing only 1 lb 8.9 oz. After spending 107 challenging days in the hospital, she finally came home with her family’s love and support.
As she grew, her family noticed she was having some delays with mobility. After working with specialists at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Novah was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Genetic testing revealed that she and her father share a rare genetic mutation called CMT1A.
Despite these challenges, Novah’s spirit shines brightly. She is determined and doesn’t let anything stop her. She loves being outside, playing with friends, listening to music, and dancing with joy.
At Adaptive Sports Connection we want every child who could benefit from an adaptive bike to be able to make their dream of owning one come true. That is why we come alongside families to help them raise the funds they need.
